You should provide the following information in accordance with paragraph 99 of the Standard Operating Procedure:
- The reason for leaving the register;
- If due to non-payment of fees, an explanation for the non-payment and any failure to respond to IPReg's correspondence in relation to registration renewal;
- An explanation as to how you will ensure renewal of registration in a timely manner going forward;
- Whether you have continued to work as an attorney since being removed from the register;
- If you have not worked as an attorney, whether you have been working in any regulated profession or industry;
- How you have kept your knowledge of patent attorney work or trade mark attorney work up to date;
- Whether you have completed any continuing competence activities, or have plans to do so.
