Nigel RobinsonNigel is a European and Chartered Patent Attorney.

NigelĀ graduatedĀ in Natural Sciences (Physics) from Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge and became a Chartered Patent Attorney in 1990 (awarded Gill Prize for highest marks in the 1990 UK qualifying examination) and a European Patent Attorney 1991.

Nigel was a partner at D Young & Co for over twenty years where he served at various times as Chairman, Secretary and Management Committee Member. He specialised in the field of digital electronics and computing, directly advising large UK and overseas companies as well as some SMEs and Universities. Nigel retired from D Young & Co at the end of September 2016 but is continuing his association with the firm as a consultant. Prior to joining D Young & Co in 1991, he gained patent experience in private practice and with IBM UK Intellectual Property Department.
